September 4th 1981 saw the birth of Adrian Angelo Frank Dutchin; singer/songwriter. Adrian started off as a member of the now defunct group ‘Seven' and as a lead singer in the group he was instrumental in giving the group its unique sound, a sound which he has successfully managed to maintain and embody as a solo performer. Adrian has collaborated with groups such as the Wreckin Crew and DMD to produce songs that were hits on the local music scene, and has performed at dozens of shows in his native Guyana, across the Caribbean and farther afield as a member of Krossfyah ,x2 and as a solo artiste.
For Mash 2004 Adrian teamed up with producer Burchmore Simon, Osca B ( of Byron Lee's Dragonaires formerly called Byron Lee and The Dragonaires), Roger George (of Xtatick) Rhonda G and arranger Mark Walcott to produce the monster duet 'Give It To Me' and at age twenty two he released his first solo Album entitled No Limits, then another 'Finally' in 2009.After signing his contract with Kross Kolor Records, he and Jumo 'rubber waist' Primo came together to form the group x2, and has since been making waves locally and internationally.
In 2005 he was crowned the king of Carib Soca Monarch, being the 2nd performer to win the competition and continued to reign in 2006 and again in 2008. He is the only performer to date to have won the Soca Monarch in Guyana three times. Adrian also won the Road March competition four times in the years 2004 -2006 and 2012 . He is a fun loving person who enjoys writing, and listening to music. Adrian is one of the foremost songwriters in Guyana and has won the Songwriter of the Year award at the 2009 Accolade Music Awards of Guyana.
He placed 2nd runner up in the 2012 Carib Soca Monarch competition and is ready to compete again with his eyes on taking the crown once more with his fiery piece entitled 'Jook'.
