The Carib Soca Monarch is on its was with the semi finals being held in Linden on the 9th February and the finals being held in Georgetown at the National Park on 16th February. Sources out of the Carib camp said they received thirty five entries, few of which are from Guyanese living overseas, but after the in house elimination which was a tuff job, only seventeen persons made it to the semi finals. Of that seventeen only eleven will go to the finals to challenge the reigning monarch Malo. Word on the streets is that, this year the songs are hot and its going to be serious explosion come the 16th. Kross Kolor will keep you inform with names of the eleven who will reach the finals.
